Skin Care Travel Favorites

I don't think I'm the only one that hates having to size-down my skin care routine because of TSA carry-on rules. But, I have some very travel-friendly products that always make it into my luggage.

Airplanes suck the moisture out of your body, hence your skin will also be thirsty. I've learned to moisturize heavily before flights and during vacations when I'm staying in air conditioned hotel rooms. I started using Caudalie's S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum when my skin began to get super dry from using Proactive. Apply this before your moisturizer and your skin will feel so replenished and quenched.

I first tried a sample of the fresh Rose Hydrating Eye Gel Cream before I bought the real thing. This was the first eye product in a while that I saw immediate results with. It's a very hydrating formula that'll help plump up the skin around your eyes so they look less tired and wrinkled. It also has a nice light rose scent. I only use it at night before going to sleep.

I have acne prone skin. I used to have it pretty bad in high school but still experience small breakouts as an adult. Using Proactive + has helped minimize the breakouts. I got this travel size Pore Targeting Treatment bottle when I signed up to get subscriptions again and have saved it for trips while keeping the larger bottle at home.

I've been using Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer for years now. It's moisturizing but light enough that it doesn't make my skin breakout. It also works well under foundation or powder. My favorite part about this drugstore find? — it has SPF 30. Yay for sun protection!
