"High Style" comes to The Legion of Honor and it's definitely worth seeing for fashion lovers and history buffs alike.
"Gowns, accessories, and other looks by the most influential designers of the last one hundred years—including Chanel, Givenchy, Dior, and Charles James—trace the evolution of fashion in the 20th century. These fashions worn by American women reflect the nation’s tastes and transformations during the decades between 1910 and 1980."
If you haven't had a chance to see the exhibit yet, I urge you to do so right now. It's showing at The Legion of Honor until July 19th.

If you're familiar with photographer Cecil Beaton's work (shown below), you'll know how amazingly beautiful Charles James' gowns are. They are a total structural masterpiece.
