Dinner: Liholiho Yacht Club

There's something to be said when a restaurant can bring strangers together, share an incredible meal, and leave as instant friends. That's exactly what happened on my first time visit to Liholiho this past weekend. 

My sister (@fritzie), friend (@tina), and I decided to get in line early for dinner at LihoLiho. Since we didn't have reservations, we ended up getting there at 3:45pm — they open at 5pm. You can say we were a little bit early, but hey, better safe than sorry right? 

Around 4:20, a couple other people started to get in line behind us. Soon enough, we strike up conversation, chocolates were shared, Instagram tips were given and we ended up wrangling a lone diner to join our little party of three. While our main motive was to be able to order more food to share and try out, we ended up having one of the bests dining companions ever! 

Long story short, waiting in line for restaurants can be annoying, but it can also introduce you to other experiences and people you may not have otherwise encountered. 

So, the guy we ended up convincing to join us is Jason (@jason_powers). He's also quite the foodie and is a coffee and beer connoisseur. He ended up trying octopus for the first time with us! This may just be the beginning of a little supper club. I think monthly meetings might have to be a requirement.
